ABB Ltd., Siemens AG and Schneider Electric SA are getting some love from analysts at Goldman Sachs for their involvement in the build out of smart-grid networks. The three will be “key beneficiaries” of investments in smart grids because of their operational and financial involvement in the field, Goldman Sachs said.
“The need to integrate renewable-energy generation and electric vehicles into the underlying grid and the future requirement to meet increasing power quality demands emphasize the ultimate importance of a smart grid,” said Goldman in releasing its research report.
