Utility-Scale Photovoltaic Systems Costs Continue to Decline

A report by the U.S. Energy Information Administration and the National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL) said costs for utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems have declined in recent years, and that most sources show that system costs on a per-watt basis have fallen about 10% to 15% per year from 2010 through 2016.
