Electrical manufacturers and reps also often use the Electrical Pyramid to develop and evaluate the various channels they use to sell electrical products. While full-line electrical distributors remain the primary channel to the market for most manufacturers, the largest of the alternate channels are powerful competitors.
Many of them are hybrid distributors that sell electrical supplies as part of a broader package of products.
