Fulham (Hawthorne, CA): Jeremy Ludyjan was appointed to the newly created position of senior director of field marketing. In his new role, Ludyjan will be responsible for serving as liaison between Fulham’s global sales team and home office, helping to target markets and accounts.
He has more than two decades of sales and marketing experience in semiconductors and solid-state lighting. Before joining Fulham, Ludyjan was general manager for Velocity Electronics with global responsibility for distribution of solid-state lighting components and finished goods to OEMs and lighting installers. He is Lighting Certified by the National Council of Qualified Lighting Professionals and holds a degree in international business from Texas Wesleyan University.
LSI Industries Inc. (Cincinnati): Howard (“Howie”) E. Japlon was named executive vice president, Human Resources and General Counsel, effective March 13, 2017. Prior to joining LSI, Japlon served as VP, general counsel and secretary at ACE Hardware Corp.; previous employers include RG Steel and Schneider Electric. Japlon received a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, Champaign–Urbana and a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University, New York City. The addition of Japlon will allow Paul Foster, executive V.P., LSI Business System, to focus on the integration of Atlas Lighting Products.
Crescent Electric Supply (East Dubuque, IL): Dan Philippi has been promoted to the position of senior V.P. - human resources He joined the company in August, 2000 as human resources director and was promoted to V.P. in 2008. Philippi earned a BA in business administration from Wartburg College and an MA in industrial relations & human resources from the University of Iowa.
Robroy Enclosures, a subsidiary of Robroy Industries (Verona, PA): Ara Mihalik is now the company’s marketing coordinator. Mihalik joined Robroy Enclosures a year ago in an operations support role. The company said Mihalik’s experience having owned her own service business before joining Robroy gave her an entrepreneurial understanding of business. She holds a management degree from Cornerstone University and an operational background in service, operations, and purchasing.
“Ara’s wealth of experience and knowledge will serve us well as she takes on marketing challenges for Robroy Enclosures in 2017,” Jeff Seagle, president of Robroy Enclosures said in a release. “We anticipate significant growth and investment, not only in new people, but also in capital.”
