Companies in the news this week include Schneider Electric, OmniCable, Affiliated Distributors, Morris Products and United Electrical Sales,

Schneider Electric (Andover, MA)

Jesús Carmona, (photo above) the company’s Zone president for Mexico and Central America, joined the board of directors of the U.S.-Mexico Foundation. During his 27-plus years at Schneider Electric, he has promoted sustainability and digital transformation initiatives.

OmniCable (West Chester, PA)

Chris Kennedy was promoted to VP, Procurement and Category Management. In this new role, Kennedy will lead OmniCable’s purchasing, supply chain and category management functions. A 14-year veteran at OmniCable, Kennedy most recently served as VP -Sales Operations, where he oversaw corporate, project and international sales teams. Since joining the company in 2011, he has held several leadership positions in product development and sales.

 

Affiliated Distributors (West Chester, PA)

Scott Bass was appointed senior VP of Marketing. He was most recently the VP of Global Marketing & Corporate Communications for Edmund Optics.

 

Anamet Electrical (Mattoon, IL)

John Abel joined the company as Western Region sales manager. He has worked in the industry since graduating from the University of Houston, and has almost 35 years of experience as operations manager, sales director and global  business development manager.

Abel previously worked for National Oilwell Varco, the Seacoast division of EIS, Turtle & Hughes and Hilti.

 

AJB Sales (St. Louis Park, MN)

Dan Ramirez Barrett joined AJB Sales team as a commodities specialist, according to an AJB Linkedin post. He has worked in customer service and sales roles.

 

Atlantic Coast Electric Supply (Summerville, SC)

The company recently hired Bud Scott, David Punda and Malcolm Carr to join its Summerville warehouse team, according to a company Linkedin post.

 

Morris Products (Queensbury, NY)

Kelvin Saunders joined the company as a national account specialist and will be responsible for the growth of Morris Products at their national wholesaler partners.

Saunders began his career as an electrical engineer in the United Kingdom with a UK wholesaler and was transferred to the United States in 1999.  Since coming to the United States, he has worked for national wholesalers in various capacities and has been instrumental in developing supply of electrical products from overseas. He was most recently a sales representative for JSE, a manufacturers’ rep in Florida.

 

REP LINES

Morris Products partnered with United Electrical Sales of Georgia (USEG). In addition to sales coverage in Georgia, UESG will also represent Morris in Alabama and parts of Florida. The new representation became effective Oct. 1.
