Legrand (West Hartford, CT)

John Selldorff is retiring at the end of Feb. 2024 after leading Legrand, North & Central America (LNCA) for 22 years as president and CEO. Brian DiBella, current president of the Data, Power & Control division of LNCA, will step into the role March 1.
He built Legrand's North & Central America business from a $600 million small manufacturer of switches and sockets, at the time of his appointment, to a leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures, including Cable Management, Data Centers, Audio Visual, Building Controls and Lighting. LNCA has grown to approximately $4 billion and represents around 40% of the Group's global revenue today.
In other company news, Pam Hoppel was named president of Legrand/AV. She will drive all aspects of the AV business in North and Central America (LNCA), including increasing customer satisfaction, operational excellence, sales and market share growth.
Prior to joining Legrand, Hoppel held various leadership positions at Delta Faucet Co. where, most recently as VP of Trade, she built and implemented both the trade and international vision as well as the strategy to deliver profitable above-market sales growth and margin expansion.

Border States Electric (Fargo, ND)

Former CEO Tammy Miller announced her campaign for governor of North Dakota to replace Governor Doug Burgum, who isn’t seeking a third term.  Currently the state’s lieutenant governor, Miller said she is running on a pro-business and  pro-military platform.
Electrical Supply Center (ESC) (Burlington, MA): Larry LaFreniere, ESC’s CEO was appointed to the board of trustees of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC), Burlington. He will serve on the finance and philanthropy committees.
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is a well-known tertiary academic medical center providing pioneering medical treatments, innovative technology and leading-edge research.

Vallen Distribution Inc. (Charlotte, NC)

Sonia Timmons was promoted to senior VP-Finance. She serves on Vallen’s executive leadership team, reporting to CFO James Melton, and will be responsible for strategic leadership of financial operations.
Timmons joined the Vallen organization in 2007, and during her tenure she has participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions. She has an MBA; bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance; and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
