Service Wire (Culloden, WV)

The company hired two key positions to grow its commercial and industrial business in the West. Sam Coultas, (right in above photo) business development manager in Houston, and Jerry Medley, (left in above photo) director of business development out of the Phoenix office, will be responsible for growing strategic business for Service Wire. Both individuals have decades of industry experience and knowledge which will add to the already strong Service Wire sales force.

Coultas has over 25 years of experience in electrical distribution, with 15 years in demand creation for engineers and management. Medley has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and has worked as a VP of sales and business development.

 

Schaedler Yesco Distribution (Harrisburg, PA)

Vince Liberto joined the team as VP of Business Operations. The responsibilities of this role include process management, business operations and training & development with the goals of refining quality and continuous improvement efforts, streamlining processes, improving workflow efficiency and enhancing overall customer experience via a skilled workforce of employee-owners.

Liberto has worked in the electrical distribution industry for more than 28 years and has held various roles in sales and operations leadership. In his previous position, he was responsible for strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, drive growth and profitability and create value for customers. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

 

RESA Power (Houston)

This provider of electrical testing for power systems, transformer services, and life extension solutions for power distribution equipment announced the appointment of Scott Harrison as CEO. Effective immediately, he succeeds board member and interim CEO Monte Roach, who will support Harrison as he transitions into the role.

“Throughout the process of getting to know him, Scott clearly showed he is one of us, an engineer by trade who understands what it means to lead a safety-sensitive service business and help companies maximize their potential,” said Roach in the press release.

Harrison has more than 35 years of experience in the automotive, industrial, engineering and technology industries. Prior to joining RESA Power, he served as CEO and board member of Depot Connect International in the chemical and food transportation sector that merged Quala with Boasso Global. Harrison also served as CEO and board member for Rea Magnet Wire Co., the largest producer of magnet wire in the world; CEO and board member for Azure Dynamics; group president for Hayes Lemmerz International, and other senior management roles.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Ohio State University and a master’s degree in the same from the University of Dayton.

 

U.S. Motors/Nidec (St. Louis, MO)

Cory Kniepp is now director, Strategic Planning & Marketing Operations and Patrick Hogg is senior marketing director, Industrial OEMs and Distribution. Kniepp will support growth initiatives, collaborating with senior management in shaping business strategy and conducting data analysis. He was previously director, Marketing Operations. Kniepp joined Nidec in 2017 as a market manager. He holds a bachelor’s of science  degree in general engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Hogg will continue to lead the company’s industrial pumping, distribution and general industry markets, along with a stronger focus on business development for these and other markets in the industrial segment. He has been with Nidec for over 16 years (including when U.S. Motors was part of Emerson). In that time, he has moved up from engineering co-op through customer design marketing and product management. For the past three years, Hogg has been director of marketing for the industrial markets. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and an MBA from University of Missouri-St. Louis.
