Prices in December's EPI Moderate by -0.1%

Moderation in electrical product pricing continues.

Electrical Marketing's Electrical Price Index (EPI) continued to moderate on a monthly and annual basis, respectively, with a small -0.1% decline over Nov. 2024 and a +2.4% increase over Nov. 202. Switchgear had the largest month-over-month (+3.5%) and annual (+8.7%), followed by Panelboards & Switches at +3.1% and +8%, respectively.  With a -1.8% monthly decline, Building Wire & Cable  had the biggest decline.
