Teerlinck named president of Werner Electric Supply Wisconsin

Werner Electric Supply (Neenah, Wis.):Scott Teerlinck was named president of Werner Electric Supply of Wisconsin, effective Jan.1 He has 18 years of industry experience and will report to CEO Lynn MacDonald. Teerlinck came from Rockwell Automation where he held sales and management positions. Most recently, he was based in Singapore as the company's regional director for Rockwell Southeast Asia Region.

MacDonald said in a press release announcing the hire, “I believe in Scott’s decision-making and his integrity –- both of which are closely aligned with the culture of Werner Electric. This alignment will help to ensure the long-term continuity of Werner Electric in a manner consistent with our proud legacy. “In addition to his management skills, Scott’s international sales experience will benefit our interests and investments in EDGE.”

EDGE (Electrical Distribution Global Enterprise) is a partnership between distributors to build a network of distribution and automation company partners outside of North America. Werner Electric is one of the eleven founding members of the new venture.

Teerlinck joined Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley in 1994 as a sales trainee, after which he was assigned to the Appleton, Wis., sales office where he first worked with Werner Electric. Since that time, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within Rockwell Automation, including global accounts management, sales management, director of marketing, and global leadership of Rockwell’s Plant Services business. He earned his MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and his BS in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Werner Electric Supply has 11 locations throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, employs more than 350 employees and has annual sales of more than $210 million dollars.
