Heard at the NAED Eastern….

Attendance seemed solid at this week’s NAED Conference at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood, Fla., and according to NAED staffers there were very few cancellations due to Hurricane Sandy. Most of the lobby chatter seemed to focus on the results of the election and the $150 million Rexel recently paid for Munro Distributing in Fall River, Mass. Not too many Obama supporters in this crowd, and it seems like the industry will be operating in a malaise until politicians figure out what they are going to do about the fiscal cliff.
