Sonepar’s Gabriel joins board of directors at KapStone Paper & Packaging

KapStone Paper and Packaging Corp. (Northbrook, Ill): The company’s board of directors recently elected David Gabriel, president and CEO of Sonepar North America, as a director of the company. He was elected as a Class A director and has a term expiring in 2016. Gabriel has held his current position at Sonepar since Sept. 2009. From May 2003 through Aug. 2009, he served as president and CEO of Hagemeyer North America. Prior to 2003, he served as senior V.P./general manager of Tenneco Automotive's North American aftermarket business. Gabriel earned a bachelor of science in packaging engineering from Michigan State University.
