The +3.8% year-over-year increase in the Total Index to 206.4 points in Electrical Marketing's Electrical Price Index (EPI) for April was the smallest increase since Nov. 2020. The monthly decrease of -0.2% continued the recent trend of a slowdown in pricing momentum. Pole-Line Hardware (+1.5%); Ballasts (+1.4%); and Electric Heating Equipment (+1.4%); were the only categories that ran counter to this trend in April.
