May Electrical Price Index Registers Small Increase

The EPI's Total Index for May showed a small increases of +0.1% over April, but it's still one of the lowest monthly increase of the past 12 months. At +3.7%, the year-over-year (YOY) data also increased over April but was still well below the consecutive double-digit YOY increases from April 2021 through Sept. 2022. Conduit fittings (+1.6%) and Nonmetallic conduit (+1.2%) had the largest monthly increases of the major product categories.
